Hey, I still haven't heard back from you on the possible RIF. I still have many unanswered questions about statements made by Hinojosa and the people being rehire or hired, and the people let go. Who were the people let go? They obviously weren't bilingual. Who has come back? Who are they hiring? Sounds like cleaning house to me. I am not a bilingual teacher and it makes me feel like a target, that and principal doesn't seem to like me because of a run-in over the environment in my portable. So I am still asking. How did you get your information, and is it a reliable source? If so, I will definitely get my resume' ready. Thanks again.

Well, that will be interesting since they are planning to lift the hiring feeze in November. If only I were able to assume such illogic could never happen. But in DISD, the impossible becomes reality...and the truly ridiculous is S.O.P.

Yesterday (November 6) at the school board briefing, the Supt. told the board:
There is not going to be another RIF.
